| Yuddy - A New Degree of Connectivity
Everyone wants to be connected. That’s the world today. Well, now wherever you have access to the net, you have the chance to connect with the celebrities you normally just read about.
Meet the Yuddy team!
Yuddy brings you right into the world of celebrities. You’ve heard of six degrees of separation, right? Maybe you’ve seen the movie, the TV show or even played six degrees of Kevin Bacon. The unproven theory is that everyone in the world is linked to every other person through six links of acquaintances, friends or family. Well, Yuddy takes this theory to a whole new level. Now you can see how your world links into the world of your favorite celebrities.
Yuddy Now ~ The celebrity world is a real life soap opera. Get caught up on all the drama, trials and tribulations with Yuddy. Sort through hundreds (soon to be thousands) of your favorite celebrity biographies and learn of their achievements and public hardships. You’ll find yourself saying “I never knew that” over and over again as you realize just how small the celebrity world really is.
Follow a chain of celebrities from bio to bio. Just look for the blue names and link to that celeb’s bios. Or, click random article to spin the celebrity wheel and learn about someone you might never have found on your own.
Plus, check in with Yuddy to hear the changes happening in celebrity circles. Who is working on what, with who, on and off the set. Music, Movies, TV, Politics, Models even Pseudo-Celebrities are covered here.
Yuddy Coming Soon – While it’s fun to play voyeur and peek through windows into the Hollywoodlifestyle, Yuddy aims to get you connected . Coming soon, Yuddy goes interactive. See how many degrees linger between you and your favorite celebrities. Even if you haven’t met Hollywood ’s heavy hitters – you can easily link yourself up with the cool crowd.
For example: Say you met David Copperfield while vacationing in Las Vegas . David Copperfield dated Claudia Schiffer for 6 years, who was in Zoolander with Ben Stiller, who is the son of Jerry Stiller, who was in an AOL commercial with Snoop Dogg, who did a song with Justin Timberlake.
Look at the strings of celebrities you are Yuddy-connected to. And that’s just one possible path! From David Copperfield alone, there are almost endless connection possibilities.
And, Yuddy won’t stop there. We want Yuddy to be a part of your daily life. Post photos of you and that celebrity you can believe you met. Talk in a forum with other fans about the new TV heartthrob or magazine pin-up. In the world of Yuddy, anything is possible. In fact, if there is some element of Yuddy you would love to see, let us know. We want to cater to your every whim (ok, maybe not every whim. We won’t do breakfast in bed. In fact, we’d like that ourselves). Make sure Yuddy is your online buddy.
Here's the cast of characters that adds all the juicy yadda yadda yadda to Yuddy:
Robert S. Mitchell | CEO/Founder
Robert S. Mitchell is the founder and CEO of Yuddy.com. He is an experienced financial, publishing and internet executive having held positions in Fortune 500 companies, small and medium businesses as well as start-up internet companies.
In 1992, after a successful career as a financial executive for several companies including broadcasting giant CBS, Robert joined the World Wrestling Federation (now the World Wrestling Entertainment) as a financial executive. In 1994, WWE tapped Robert for a position as Publisher. In 1995, Robert launched the WWE’s first venture into cyberspace with a partnership with America Online. In 1996, Robert launched wwf.com which is now in the top 100 sites on the web.
His career continued with an internet start-up as COO and onto Herbalife as VP of E-Commerce.
The idea of Yuddy.com came to Robert while online at the grocery store. He was intrigued by the tangled web of celebrity lives as evidenced by all the amount of celeb-oriented publications such as People, , OK and more. “ I thought – why not see how far you could take the six degrees of separation concept with all celebrities and not just Kevin Bacon?”
Annie Barden - Managing Editor

Not a native American. English! A fact that becomes evident on a daily basis with her constant exhibition of the strange British sense of humour and power of observation. That she was born in a land that takes great pleasure in watching Basil Fawlty assault and humiliate the hapless Spanish waiter, Manuel, in Fawlty Towers, gives an idea of where Annie’s sense of humour is coming from. But here at Yuddy.com we like to view her more like Edina in Absolutely Fabulous, where mother and daughter have swapped roles. Her daughter is sensible and dependable, and despairs at her irresponsible, self-obsessed fashion editor/ writer mother, Edina, and her drunken friend Patsy. Well that just about sums up Annie and her Brit friend Jackie.
Previous writing experience: Application letters for release from the Department of Psychiatry, obituaries notices for the local newspaper, begging letters to lottery winners, graffiti on the walls of Southampton Football Club and poison pen letters to ex-boyfriends. Now you know exactly what we’re up against here at Yuddy.com!
Annie's Celebrity Connection: Annie's not adverse to rubbing shoulders with celebrities which is clearly visible from her photograph. On New Years eve, CNN’s Anderson Cooper was unceremoniously press ganged into a photo shoot, but managed to smile through gritted teeth and through the overwhelming fumes of key limes!
Carolyn French | Writer

Hoping to one day turn free-lance writing into a steady career, Carolyn spends half of her week blogging for Yuddy, and the other half being a slave-to-the-wage at Kohl's in northern California. A self-proclaimed film addict, she owns over three-hundred DVDs ranging from horror flicks like Hostel, to romantic-comedies like My Best Friend's Wedding. Opinionated yet eternally shy, she's just a home-body pacifist with a punk-rock appearance.
Carolyn's Celebrity Connection: Harboring a strange fascination for actor Nathan Lane since the age of eight, she had the good fortune to meet him while he was starring in The Producers on Broadway in 2001. That very same day, Carolyn crossed paths with Lane’s fellow co-stars Matthew Broderick, and the hilarious Roger Bart (who was recently slaughtered in Hostel Part II.) To answer the infamous celebrity question "Was he nice?" the answer to all three would be yes, they were perfect gentlemen.
Alexis James | Writer

Alexis is a fashion-obsessed urbanite currently splitting her time between San Francisco and Tokyo - both GREAT places for fashion inspiration! She writes for a living and works from coffee shops around the world.
Alexis' Celebrity Connection: In Journalism school Alexis had the opportunity to interview the cast of The Lord of the Rings (including Elijah Wood!) on the red carpet for the premier of the movie. Definitely a college highlight!
Liz Herrin | Bio Writer
Liz Herrin is a freelance writer based out of Seattle, WA . She currently attends the University of Washington where her major is English. She has always had a deep passion for reading and writing, and hopes to someday capitalize on that passion to publish her own novels.
